Burning Instructions: To get a safe and fragrant burn when you light your candle, please follow these guidelines.
Burn it right from the start.
- Burn for a minimum of two hours initially.
- The first candle burn is the most important—the candle wax must pool to the edge on the initial burn. Candle wax has memory that wax and by not burning your candle to the edges on the first burn, it will begin to tunnel and won’t burn evenly the next time.
- Do not burn candles longer than 4 hours.
- Keep your wick trimmed to ¼ inch. Trim your candle before every lighting. A trimmed wick will prevent smoke and allows for the cleanest burn possible.
- Keep the candle away from children and pets!
- Do not move or handle the soy candle while burning.
- Extinguish the candle when it is not properly supervised.
- Avoid burning candles in drafty areas.
- The estimated burn time for our 10 oz. candle is 40 to 50 hours. Burn times are an estimate and can be greatly affected by the environment in which the candle is used.
- Discontinue use of your candle when only ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.
